The inaugural gathering served as the foundational bedrock for BitDevs PH. Hosted at the Management Science Department's Opolo Hub at RSU, the session introduced participants to the unique BitDevs culture of non-commercial, technical inquiry. Anthony Ushie facilitated the session, emphasizing the importance of Bitcoin-only education in the region. The agenda covered Bitcoin 101, focusing on decentralization and sound money, followed by a fireside chat with Chigala from Bitscript. This session was instrumental in identifying the community's learning needs and establishing a roadmap for monthly Socratic Seminars.
